Hurricane Irene - Why All The Fuss?

Ever notice how much hype there was over this storm?  Irene I mean.  She's caused a lot of confusion and misinformation if you ask me.  Also, why do they have to take a storm and drag it out on the news.

Breaking News: Hurricane Irene has made landfall.  Please, that's not breaking news.  Ever notice how most of the time, Breaking News, isn't breaking news at all?

I know that I'm not the only one that gets frustrated with this sort of thing.  What about you?  Do you get frustrated with the fact that the News media thinks we're stupid or something?  Well, they must think we're stupid.

One news media station even goes as far as playing the same stuff over and over each hour.  With very little change if any throughout the day.  Seriously?  Are you guys that stupid?  I mean, who really wants to sit there and listen to news on the storm for an hour?  Who wants to sit there and listen to news on a murder case for an hour?  Who wants to sit there and listen to the news of war for an entire hour?

I just have one question.  What new things are they showing us?   Not much really.  I think it's time for the Newscasters and News Media in general, to "Grow Up."  On top of that, what's with these idiotic weather forecasters, stepping out in Hurricane force winds.  Yeah, you won't catch me out there.  These idiots can have their stories.

Sharks - Why Stupid People Don't Last Long

So, I saw this video of people that actually felt strongly that they had a connection with a Great White Shark.  lol, Talk about hilarious.  In the video, the woman exclaims, "I feel like there is a connection.  That the shark and I had an understanding.  Had circumstances been different, I felt like I could have swam with the shark while feeding it."  And this is why stupid people don't last long.  Here is the original video.  If I can find the original full length video, I'd watch it, just for laughs.  lol

Stupid Things People Do - Family

There are lots of stupid things people do.  One of them is something far too many people do during the Holidays.  Not only do people eat way too much during the Holidays, as though it's an excuse to indulge, People are often too lazy.

That's right, People sit around doing much of nothing on the Holidays.  Instead of sitting down on your butt, why not for a change get up and play games with the kids or something.

I was spending time with my Second Cousins and someone just had to say something.  Good thing I didn't hear them say anything.  Something about me spending too much time with them.  Bah, that's a bunch of B.S. if you ask me.  Tell me something, what's wrong with people spending time with their family?  What's wrong with people actually playing with the younger generation?  Remember when we were kids?  We used to run around the yard like there was no tomorrow.

And this is why people will always be fat.  Too fricken lazy to get off their butt's.  Instead, they'd rather sit around and socialize.  Yeah, like that's really productive?  When you're trying to lead an active lifestyle, sometimes, the best way to do that, is getting out their with the kids in your family.

This is the exact reason why some families split apart and they don't even talk to each other.  Because people don't spend enough time with them when they are little.  This is the kind of ignorance we need to shy away from.  Many Christians believe there will come a time when the Blind will lead the Youth.  I think that time is now.  It's happening right in our own families.  People are so stupid, so blind, so self centered, that they'll quickly point out something that THEY, don't think is quite right.

Is this a Society of Ignorant, Baffling Fools that we live in?  I don't know about you, but I'd say half of my family is about Brain Dead.  What say you?

Stupid Things People Do

This post is titled Stupid Things People Do.  I'm thinking about making this series of post.  In other words, either a daily, or weekly post.  Probably daily.  There is so much that people do that are just stupid.  Here's one of them

So, today's post is about Car Manufactures.  When you go to the Car Dealer, to purchase a new car.  One might consider asking, if they come with a spare tire.  What, seriously?

Yep, today's stupid things is that Car Manufactures are starting to not put Spare tires in cars.  Why?  What's the method behind the madness?  Their point of view is to make the car lighter and more fuel efficient.  Seriously?  Sense when does taking out a donut tire make the car more fuel efficient?

My point is this.  Cars have always come with a spare tire.  Why?  That adds to the safety features of the car.  Maybe not in the minds of the sellers, but in the minds of the consumer.  How often have you been down the road and needed a spare tire?  Chances are, not very often, yet it's still nice to have that spare.  It's a comfort to most people.  And people are starting to take note.  There are numerous other things you can do to a car to make it more fuel efficient.

Next time you go to a dealer.  Make sure the car has a spare tire.
